| Because every animal that we see is "special", we do not consider any procedure ‘routine’. Every animal receives a comprehensive physical examination before any procedure, even annual vaccinations. During this examination (which your pet should have annually) the doctor will listen to your pets’ heart and lungs, palpate (feel) the abdomen for any abnormalities and check the ears, teeth, eyes and skin. If you have noticed any changes in your pet’s routine or behavior, this is the time to discuss it with your veterinarian. Colony Animal Hospital believes in preventative medicine and is committed to education and early diagnosis. If and when your pet does have a problem, the doctors and staff are dedicated to providing you and your pet with state-of-the-art technology and medical care in a personalized atmosphere. |
