| Both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries are preformed routinely at Colony Animal Hospital. Our doctors are experienced in a wide range of procedures from spaying, neutering and Cesarean sections to more advanced surgeries such as anterior cruciate ligament repair, fracture reduction and repair (bone plating, external fixation), and back surgery (lumbar vertebral disc disease). Every precaution is taken to assure your pets’ safety and comfort. All anesthetized patients are closely monitored with sophisticated equipment which constantly evaluates their heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation of the blood (pulse oximeter) and cardiac electrical activity (ECG). We use state-of-the art anesthetics, and special attention is always paid to pain management. |
