Dentistry

Good dental care is as important for your pet as it is for you and possibly more so because our pets don’t brush their teeth daily! Proper dental care not only prevents bad breath and periodontal disease but also prevents infection spreading through the blood stream to your pet’s liver, kidneys and heart. This bacterial shower can lead to permanent organ damage affecting your pet’s overall health. Dentistrys are done under general anesthetic. Both ultrasonic and hand scaling are done to remove tartar and plaque from your pet’s teeth, followed by a high-speed polishing, and then a fluoride treatment. Most of our equipment is the same as ‘people’ dentists use and we promise your pets will go home with sweet smelling breath and a pearly white smile!
